Massapequa Park Memorial Day Parade
Come out to the Memorial Day parade this Monday, in Massapequa Park!
With the beach time, BBQs and all-around festivities, the meaning of the holiday can be forgotten. Memorial Day is for remembering those who passed while serving our country. The festivities are a reflection of the freedom their sacrifices have made.
Sgt. Peter F. Colleran Post #7763 Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion Post #1066, along with the Village Council, will conduct the Annual Memorial Day Parade. The parade will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. on Broadway and Commonwealth Avenue in Massapequa; moves south on Broadway, east on Clark Boulevard to Park Boulevard to Front Street and travel west to Brady Park. Refreshments served by Sgt. Peter F. Colleran Post #7763 Veterans of Foreign Wars will follow. Come join us in paying tribute to those who made the supreme sacrifice in defense of our nation. Anyone interested in marching in the parade can contact Village Hall at 798-0244 ext. 111.
